Celebrating 75 years of Sisterhood.
We gather in Palm Beach Shores
The Best Little Town in Florida.
The Seasiders were formed in 1951 by a group of 5 women “to promote the spirit of
service and friendship among its members and to stimulate interest” in Palm Beach Shores.
Since that time we have grown to over 140 members.
Our greatest mission is our volunteer work with the local community, whether it is making sandwiches or serving hot meals at local churches or raising money to donate to local charities (over $300,000 has been raised over the past 75 years)!
We have also given over $27,000 to the town of Palm Beach Shores to purchase needed items like equipment for our Fire Department, a beach wheel chair and wind breaks for the Community Center.
We are most active from October to May of each year, with a lighter calendar available for our “Summer Sisters” for those of us who remain here all year!
On the first Thursday from October to May, we host a luncheon with a guest speaker.
Gathering together for friendship, food, and an interesting, entertaining, and sometimes educational program.
We have four main sub-groups: Community Service, Four Arts, Home and Garden and Social.
We also host several special events during the year like the Annual Holiday Tea & Cookie Exchange, Holiday Market, Taster’s Lunch, Pizza Party and more!
Our membership continues to grow as our members seek out ways to give back to the world and develop friendships.
The Seasiders welcome all women from town regardless political or religious affiliations.
